A
One Windows PC
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. It stays on during opening hours: it keeps the records, and the desks work from it. No administrator rights are needed to install it.
01/Download
Windows 10 and 11
For the clinic's main PC. Install it there first; every other desk in the clinic then opens Redian in its browser and finds the workstation by itself.
02/What you need
Most clinic PCs already do
A
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. It stays on during opening hours: it keeps the records, and the desks work from it. No administrator rights are needed to install it.
B
The desks and the workstation on the same Wi-Fi or cable. Any PC, laptop or tablet with a modern browser can be a desk; nothing is installed on them.
C
The clinic never needs it to work. The workstation uses it when it is there, to back up, update, and send reports to patients.
03/Install
Minutes, not days
Step 1
Sign up at labs.redian.health with the clinic's name and your email. You become its administrator.
Step 2
On the main PC, open Redian-Setup.exe. Windows may say Windows protected your PC: choose More info, then Run anyway.
Step 3
Sign in with your administrator account. The workstation brings down your clinic: tests, prices, staff and templates.
Step 4
On every other desk, open redian.local in the browser, or install the same download. An administrator signs in once to pair the desk; after that each person signs in with their own account.
Updates download by themselves and are put in place overnight, never during opening hours. An administrator can also choose Update now.
