Your data, kept.
This policy explains what personal data Voltex Technologies Limited ("we") collects through Redian Keep, keep.redian.health and redian.health, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Who we are
Voltex Technologies Limited, RC 8161734, 128 U/Getsi, Outpost, Kano, Kano State, Nigeria is the data controller for shop owners' accounts and this website. For the records a pharmacy keeps in Keep (its sales, stock, staff and customers), the pharmacy is the controller and we process that data for it, on its instructions.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address, phone number, password (stored only as a one-way hash), and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier and email.
- Your shop: the shop's name, branches, plan and subscription, and the records the shop keeps in Keep: products, prices, stock, sales, suppliers, staff names and roles, and customers the shop chooses to record (for example a name and phone number for a customer wallet).
- Payments: Paystack takes card and bank details. We keep the payment reference, amount, and the card's brand, last four digits and expiry so we can renew the subscription. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Technical data: the app's version, error reports and diagnostics a shop sends us, and the network address and time of requests to our servers, kept for security.
- Cookies: one cookie that keeps you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
- Visitor counts: we count visits to our websites with GoatCounter, which we run on our own server. It sets no cookies and keeps no network address or anything else that identifies you: only the page, the site that linked to it, the browser, the screen size and the country.
Why we use it
- To run the service you signed up for: sign-in, backups, sync between your PCs and the owner app (performance of a contract).
- To send sign-in codes, password resets, payment receipts and notices about your account, by email, text message or WhatsApp (performance of a contract).
- To bill your subscription and keep tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
- To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and fix problems (legitimate interest).
- To learn which pages help shop owners, from visitor counts that identify no one (legitimate interest).
- To tell you about new features, only if you agree; you can stop at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run Keep, under contracts that protect it:
- Oracle Cloud: hosting of our servers and encrypted backups (United Kingdom).
- Paystack: subscription payments (Nigeria).
- Brevo: sending emails (European Union).
- Termii: sending text messages (Nigeria).
- Google: only if you choose Sign in with Google.
- Meta (WhatsApp): only for messages you agree to receive on WhatsApp.
Where data leaves Nigeria, we rely on the safeguards the Nigeria Data Protection Act allows, such as contracts with appropriate protection. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.
How we protect it
A shop's records live first on its own PC. Copies sent to the cloud are encrypted, connections use HTTPS, passwords and PINs are stored only as hashes, and access by our staff is limited and logged.
How long we keep it
We keep account and shop data while the subscription is active. After a shop leaves, we keep its cloud copy for 90 days so it can come back or export its records, then delete it, except billing records we must keep by law (usually six years).
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent you gave. Customers and staff of a pharmacy should ask the pharmacy first; we will help it answer. Contact us as below; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng).
Children
Keep is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children, except where a pharmacy records a child as its customer, as its own controller.
Changes
We will post changes here and tell account owners by email before any important change takes effect.
